Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties (Habitat MontDelCo) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michele Moll as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 17, 2026.

Michele will lead Habitat MontDelCo as the organization continues its work to strengthen communities and expand access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for individuals and families throughout Montgomery and Delaware Counties.

Michele brings nearly 18 years of executive nonprofit leadership experience, with a strong background in organizational strategy, fundraising, financial stewardship, volunteer engagement, program development, and community partnerships. Before joining Habitat MontDelCo, she served as Executive Director of RSVP Volunteers, where she led the organization through significant growth, expanded its service footprint across four counties, strengthened funding and community partnerships, and advanced volunteer-powered programs serving more than 10,000 community members annually.

“Michele brings the combination of nonprofit executive leadership, financial stewardship, fundraising experience, and community partnership-building that Habitat MontDelCo needs for its next chapter,” said Joe Kernen, Board Chair of Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties. “Her career has been centered on mobilizing people and resources to meet community needs, and we are confident that she will help strengthen Habitat’s impact throughout Montgomery and Delaware Counties.”

In her new role, Michele will provide strategic and organizational leadership across Habitat MontDelCo’s programs, operations, fundraising, ReStore, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships. She will work closely with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, municipal and community partners, and the families and homeowners Habitat serves to advance the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.

“I am truly excited to join Habitat MontDelCo and to support work that makes such a direct and meaningful difference for families in our community,” said Michele Moll, Chief Executive Officer of Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties. “Safe, affordable housing affects every part of a person’s life; health, education, employment, family stability, and dignity. I look forward to working with the Board, staff, volunteers, donors, homeowners, and community partners to build on Habitat’s strong foundation and expand opportunities for families across Montgomery and Delaware Counties.”

For more than three decades, Habitat MontDelCo has worked alongside individuals, families, volunteers, donors, and community partners to increase access to safe and affordable housing across Montgomery and Delaware Counties. Through home purchase, home repair, and community-based initiatives, the organization works to create stronger, more vibrant communities where everyone has a decent place to call home.
