Building Together: Habitat MontDelco Joins Villanova University's 20th Anniversary Day of Service Event

On September 20th 2025, over 100 of Villanova University students gathered to celebrate the school’s 20th Anniversary Day of Service. Multiple clubs joined Habitat MontDelco not just with excitement to volunteer, but with power tools, teamwork, and a shared mission to give back.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties was proud to partner with Villanova for this milestone event, guiding students in building 50 Adirondack chairs destined for two meaningful purposes: some will be gifted to current and future Habitat homeowners, while others will be sold in our West Norriton ReStore to help fund future affordable housing projects.

This hands-on experience gave students more than just woodworking skills. It offered a chance to connect with their community, learn the value of collaboration, and see how small acts of service can contribute to lasting change.
