Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties partners with local residents to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers, and pay an affordable mortgage. Habitat also provides low cost home repairs, financial literacy and empowerment education, and revitalizes neighborhoods. With your support, they achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.

Our
History

In our 27 years, we have built 82 decent, affordable homes where 312 people, including 198 children live and thrive. In addition to down payments, mortgages and sweat equity, these homeowners have also paid property and school taxes contributing more than $2 million to communities including Bridgeport, Hatfield, Norristown, West Pottsgrove, Pottstown, Upper Dublin, and across Delaware County.

But that’s not all we do. We’ve helped thousands of other families repair their homes, become financially stable, live in improved neighborhoods and get furnishings and building materials at huge savings.

On August 1, 2017, the Habitat for Humanity local organizations in Montgomery and Delaware counties joined forces to become one stronger, more robust organization: Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties.
